The stage 6 Greenough fin is NOT the paddle fin. The paddle fin is still > in development. [smile] didn’t see anything about it on the True Ames sight.Per it’s description, it sounded like the stage vi, which has been around for a while.
yeah i thought the same thing when i first saw a J. Rice fin-suspiciously similar to the stage vi.I now know what the paddle fins are, as a friend has an early set or two.

Are they at all similar? sort of, in a basic way.ie, each has an upright neck,with some sort of flange extending back from the neck.wish i could draw them for you but i don’t know how(using the computer)check the surfer’s journal with Dora tribute,page 78(i think)picture of a surfer with his quiver, i believe it’s the board furthest back .
