Hi. Have come across a board by Greg Laurenson. Any info on him as a shaper? Cheers. Board is a single fin with deep channels along the rail.

Greg is Western Australian. There was a popular 80's label - Santosha, which became the Rusty Licensee in Aust.

I met him briefly in Sydney's DeeWhy in 2007,  where he still shapes, though I can't recall the current label.

I worked with Greg ( pants) Laurenson for a short period in the late seventies at Cordingleys in Perth.He was head shaper then along with Alf Jeffreys and apprentice Colin Earle.Made some nice  single pintails. He loved his sailing also.Am sure he moved to Tassie for a while.Sadly he died acouple of years ago.A lot of crew attended his paddle out.RIP
