forget the Gucci board unless it comes with a shiny red Testarossa…I’d love to ride this board bu only backwards fromwhat it is…maybe double ender rocker possiblities and keel and optional fin setups on each end would make this board worth more than the Gucci.

There’s this website called google.com. if you go to it, and enter “Gucci surfboards” in the little box, you could learn a bit about these Gucci surfingboards.
As far as I can tell, they were introduced around 2001. An Italian guy named Fabio was contracted by Gucci to build them. They were sold through the Gucci stores in various locales, including NYC,USA.
Here’s a quote from an online article:

inches long) or blue (six feet three inches long), designed by Gucci

So, the woman who paid $3500 got ripped off, it seems. They retailed for much less than that in NYC.

That might be applicable IF there were only two made. However, that is not the case. The Gucci boards (note the plural form) were offered in two SIZES. Doesn’t mean they only made two.
Why don’t you go to Fabio’s website, and ask him exactly how many Guccis he shaped?

This reminds me of one of my shopping experiences with my wife at the Aloha Swap meet. My wife was looking for a purse and she found this rather nice looking bag from a Korean vendor. She asked how much and he said 25 bucks. My wife said okay and then he said what type of bag she wanted. She said that one pointing to the bag she just purchased. He said, "no" and said, "which brand?" Not knowing anything, my wife said "Gucci". The guy said okay and he than placed a Gucci brass logo on the bag and handed to my wife. I said, "Wow honey a Gucci bag for only $25!"
Perhaps the owner of board can get $1500 for the board. We can ask the Koren guy to place a lightning bolt on it and write Gerry Lopez's name on the board too!

Funny I surfed my Gucci Red Model at Gas chambers in Thursday, broke it in half after Shawn B ran me over, and his buddy 6'7" 300 lb Hugh B punched me in the nose. I ended up leaving it in the trash can. Wierd?

i own a gucci surfboard, its a black long board. its nice how people are aloud to have their own opitions,
but the only people that have given me sh** about the board, seems to be the ones that got the case of the green eye.
i'm an ok surfer, not good, but ok, im not a millionaire, im not posh or stuck up, i liked the look of it, its sick.
