I just had this fin made by Rich and I figured some of you guys would be interested in checking it out. The surf has been small the past few weeks but the fin has worked real well, I can tell by the feel of it that it’s going to work great when the waves get juicy. If you have ever thought about getting something custom made, I would say go for it. This fin is nothing like anything I have ever come across in any store. Contact Rich, he is a great guy and EXTREMELY helpful… P.S. Ignore the ding along the rail, I am fixing it as we speak. http://7thstreetsurfshop.com/bb/viewthread.php?action=attachment&tid=736&pid=5378
I’m surfing a 9" Halcyon Luxe model on an 8’6. It totally rips and can’t wait to get it into juicier surf while in Hawaii.

Thanx for the perks! Good-on-ya, Rich

Also gotta give Rich kudos…he worked with me on a Greenough paddle fin from some blurry photographs and a few e-mails…great work! I’m still sorting the fin out but need some freaking waves!!! Thanks Rich!

Hey Lee, I sent of a gift certificate for the raffle and a check for some tickets in the mail today. You’ll probably get them by Friday or Saturday. You’re the man on the paddle fin. I think “The Edge” would be a great place to try it. I’d start with it as far back in the box as I could get it. I think the board will be really squirrelly with it up in the box. Frankly I’m not to keen on the template at all simply because it looks like something off the stern of one of the jolly boats they used to serve the barks in Shakespeare’s day. But who knows, it may be a cool kind of a throwback. Keep me posted about how it acts in the water. I recall attempting to foil it so it would give as much drive and be as sensitive as I could considering the outline of the fin. I think it needs a board that has some serious rail bite which is exactly the your “Edge” has. Good-on-ya, Rich
