recently picked this up. Does anybody know any info on who shaped, where and when ? Tried google-ing but had no joy. Thanks.Rich

80s maybe? Whatever you do, take those Globe stickers off.

Yeah Monkstar1 I was thinking 80s. Globe stickers will definitely be removed ! Is Kingsley the factory do you think ?

Encyclopedia of Surf says it was founded in San Diego Seal Beach in 1960 by Duke Boyd. Company got sold in 1970 and from then on it changed owner like every ten years and is now owned by a chinese investor… Might be tricky to find more, but it seems they went with fashion later…

Thanks. I found out about the clothing side of the business but can’t find out anything boards ?

Hang Ten was a clothing company founded by Duke Boyd back in the 60s. They never made boards. The logo was different from the one on this board, as well.

No idea who made these boards. Kind of a cheesy move to use an old brand name for them.
