Hansen Super Light Info

Hope this is the right place to ask, wasn’t sure if I was supposed to post within someon elses topic or not. 

I got this Hansen Super Light. It’s a 9’3 with the original fin althought someone drilled a hole through it, pretty good condition throughout.

Serial number 18470.

Can anyone help with the shaper, value?

Aloha Capecodder,

Your board was shaped by Fredrick T. Smole, AKA Buzzy Smole.       Probably a late 1968 board, judging by the number.    The small dot at the beginning, and at the end of the number sequence, was Buzzy’s designator.      Each shaper had one.     Mine was the letter  T.

I’ve got a Hansen that was shaped by Bill that is pretty similar.  I’ll try to get a pic posted so you can compare.  Lowel
