Do what I do at our Triggs - surf days when it rains. For some reason a lot of the kiddies don’t like to get wet when they are in the water. Strange but true, at least here. Saturday was 33C, waist high, offshore and rainy. Two other people in the water

People here [who don’t surf] ask me that all the time …
“you’re not going surfing are you ? but it’s RAINING !!!” [As if I hadn’t noticed]
People here who DO surf say …
“unreal , it’s raining …let’s go get some empty waves , mate !” [all four hundred of them ]

shudder Well, I guess some of it’s part of your where and when 
If it’s raining, mid-day, mid-week I know to go to spot X. If it’s the weekend or after work it’s gonna be somewhere else (a bit more isolated).
Funny how non-surfers don’t get the whole rain thing. I just enjoy it, especially when it’s fairly warm rain.

I had FUN today. about 6’ and so stoked to be on a 6’8"! it made me have so much confidents in making big waves. no fear and no sketchy slips of a smaller board. i’m really stoked on my board.
