Has anyone used nail polish to repair minor shatter in EPS/Epoxy board?

New to the forum.  I have a superficial shatter on a rail of my EPS/Epoxy handshaped shortboard.  Foam is not showing but you can see and feel the shatter and very small amount of glass has come off.  I was going to sand the area and apply some nail polish, and I was wondering if anyone has done that.  I searched the forum and was not able to find any answer.   If nail polish is a no no on an EPS board, what would you suggest?   Thanks in advance.

I have on minor bless by fin boxes and cracks without any ill effects

Howzit H8tin, I have seen it used on cracks on a poly board buut can't say about epoxy and I don't think it you would want to get any on the foam without doing a teston a piece of the same kind of foam as the board. Aloha,Kokua
