Helicopter Surf Photography on the Cheap.

Got a helicopter that the boys and I terrorise one another with. Took it to the beach today and twigged that I could put a GoPro under it and take video of the lineup..

 Its just over 2 foot long and it has a lot of lift and speed. Any ideas...?

 What a great idea. Might also be a good way to clear the line up. A few modifications rocket pods, mini gun, Oh what this isn't a Huey slick is it? 

Look into a smaller camara The GoPro looks like it would be heavy, the Helicopter might not have the lift to carry it.

Are you talking about rigging the camera to the copter?  If thats the case, then that's why they make duct tape and baling wire.  Nothing fancy, just tape that bad boy on and turn it on.

 

go take some picture, then post it up of your helicopter crashing into the ocean...........I look forward to it.

What you need is a quadcopter or hexacopter or similar

 

there is also the bigger RC helis with camera; it´s called FPV (firts person view) for example.
