Hello from West Oz!

Hi all- fairly longtime lurker, with a few pics to show, and perhaps some questions that may be able to be answered

Some pics of my ‘backyard hacking’

My first self-shaped foam board from end 2010- 6’8" ‘Big Boy’ medium size wave board. Limited testing yet, in Oz summer waves.

Epoxy over PU.

Quite new to West Oz, so any locals with better knowledge for supplies and materials, I’d be keen to chat to and meet with

Welcome Gaz!  Always good to see another T2S'er come over to the dark side!  Nice boards, hope you'll bless us with some "in progress" pics.

Hey Gaz,

There's a few of us over here in Wozzieland, great to have you on board.

What suburb are you in? And what happened to the Longboard RIP

cheers

Hi fellas, thanks for the welcome.

I rarely take build pics, too impatient to get on with the 'job in hand', though I may have some bits n bobs somewhere.

RIP, because I did some repairs which included marine varnishing the top to give better UV protection. Only problem, that while the vent was temporarily blocked with varnish I put the board out in the sun on one of WA's HOT days! You can imagine the rest...

The new HWS has part of the reclaimed top skin from the longboard actually :-)

I live in Rockingham BTW.
