Help: "Bonzer" with Belly?

A friend asked me about the possibility of doing a bonzer-type board, either 2+1 or 5 finner… with belly under the nose fading to the double concave bonzer bottom. The kind of performance he wants out of it, for beachbreak waves in the head high range, is more of a smooth, carving board that’s easy to turn, but not thruster-like. His experience with bonzers from the old days is mixed… he liked the bite and drive, but felt they tracked and were hard to turn.

I don’t know whether this has been done before, but I was hoping to get some input on this concept.

My initial inclination was to go with a slight belly under the nose, blending into a heavy vee out the back, with the double concaves cut into the vee. The result would be a bottom that has a stringer rocker and rail rocker that are more or less parallel - the stringer rocker lower than the rail rocker the whole way.

What would this ride like? Any input would be helpful…
