help my, how to proceed?
I’d cut out the jagged foam to make a nice, clean, straight edge, then glue in a chunk of foam so it fits tightly into the cleaned-up sides of what you cut out. Keep the glue in the middle, and don’t let it ooze out to the surface. Then shape it down to perfection and glass it. I’ll usually put a 4oz patch that fits the unglassed foam peice perfectly, running the edge of the patch right to the edge of the existing glass. Then I’ll sand down the existing glass right down to the cloth, and put another 4oz patch over the first that’s bigger and overlapps the existing, sanded glass by about one and a half or two inches. Fair out the edges, hotcoat, sand.
Well, first you need to go hunt down that shark who bit your tail off. Maybe he hasn’t digested it yet. If that doesn’t work go buy yourself a blank and shape a new one. I’d say fixing it isn’t worth the effort. And if that’s a leash plug tear-out - wow!
For the shark, i have kill the big fish… in the Mediterranean sea the shark do not attack fortunately. The damage has been caused from cliff, in a big day (for standard Mediterranean sea, 3mt waves). thousand thanks for the help and excused for mine the not good English.
