I was just finishing up my first board and I was flipping it around to sand the other side when i hit the nose on a beam atop my shaping shed. Is there any way i can fix this? any help is much appreciated.
can this be deleted somehow i didn’t mean to post twice
take off the roof
rebuild it a few feet
higher than the average
length if the board you plan
to make.That should fix it…
until yo start making longer boardz.
…ambrose…
I have seen friends and aquaintences
pad rafters and beams where they too
often bang boards and or heads regularly.
note: four or five layers of terrycloth
make a nice buffer bumper…
If it’s major, you can square the ding, and glue in a cube of cutoff foam. Then shape it down perfectly. The cube should just fit, and you can simply put a dab of white glue inside the hole to keep it in place for glassing.
If it’s small, just spackle it!
