Shaped board #002
6’1" x 23" x 2 7/8" x 17"n x 17"t
rocker is ~4" nose and ~3/4" tail
pinched 50/50 nose, to 60/40 mid rail and downrailed (80/20) in the tail
diamond tail 11’ wide
will be surfed by a 6’ 205 lb novice/intermediate longboarder
this is his first short board
will be surfed mostly in waist to head high crumbling beachbreak waves
shaped extra wide for extra float and planing surface
single concave to flat, v in the tail from 12" back
Was going to go with a single fin, but am considering a twin or quad
they will be glassed-on as i don’t have the cash to put out on plugs and fins
Any suggestions for fin shape and placement would be greatly appreciated
this is a gift to my best man at my wedding
Yeah, these are the single fin templates that I was most likely going to go with
probably the more vertical style of true ames
Keep the ideas rolling in please, i am sure that people have similar boards out there
i agree with the Greenough suggestions…either 4A or 4C depending on rider’s preference

Canard quads. I love those fins, i’m putting them on my next board.
what are the dimensions of that bonzer
i have another blank that i could put to good use in that direction
No idea, just found the pic on another site…but there are plenty bonzer3’s in the archives here, and on TFAD’s site. He’s the one you should direct bonzer questions to, i just shoot over suggestions.
