help with pigment design??

my next board i want try a design like the pic attached. -sorry my paint skills arent great- is there anyway i can do this with pigment, or will i have to airbrush the blank? ive searched the archives with everything i can think of but cant find any info. i’ve done a pigment lam before but im just not sure how to get a clean line down the stringer if you do 2 colours on the bottom, or if its even possible to do 2 colours on the bottom. any help would be great.

on the bottom

you could do one side at a time with lite wt cloth then one full layer in clear

but those were probly sprayed

thanks for the reply.

so would i tape down the stringer and cut it when it gels with one colour and then do the same with the other colour.

and is lite wt cloth 2oz cloth?

   Howzit merrett, You can only tape off the stringer if you paint the board or do the the pigment on the foam before glassing. Aloha,Kokua

As Kokua says

pigmenting the foam will be the easyest and probly safest way to go

 

but because Im nuts I would be crazy enough to do a split lam of colors on the bottom then another lam over them like a double 4 or a 2 plus 4
