You use sand paper. You can’t get enough of it. This thing can double the life of your sandpaper. Buy them at HarborFreight for about $7. They last years. Spin your sanding disks and run this against it to remove build up.

Great one, thanks!
…the simplest and cheapest way is to use your used sandpaper on a power pad in the angular sander to get rid of some thickness on curvy decks on the nose; then you finish with a cleaned paper; no matter the grit.
I’ve heard of this. Thanks for sharing.
Now tell us more about the electric flyswatter.
We used to hit eachother with those.
Extra points if you get your buddy on the nose.
YEAH! more on the electric fly swatter!
the sandpaper cleaner stick works well on dusty/dirty griptape on skateboards too.
That electric fly swatter is a gem. I live in Florida and am a mosquito magnet. We get these persistent little buggers that you can’t hit with your hand and that buzz your face and ankles. I can swat them easy with that thing and they are zapped. It gives such a satisfying feeling to hear that death by electrocution. They cost $4 at HarborFreight. Can’t beat that. A bit more money on Amazon delivered in 2 days.
There is a Sharpie, a screw driver and some of Pete’s goretex vents as well. I can explain.

I find myself cutting used sanding disks down to the next smaller pad or backer size, especially if I damage the edge or clog the outer part of the disk: used 8" goes to 7", used 7" goes to 6". After use on the 6" backer they go on a pile for hand-sanding and eventual disposal.
All mine are ‘Velcro’ aka hoop and loop fastener so there are no adhesives involved in the ‘downsizing’.
I’ll have to try the big eraser thing too Greg, thanks for mentioning it. I know I have one here somewhere…
