Here’s the only picture I know of for a mid-60s classic surfshop – from that time, love the clothes & hair, BJs Surf Shop, in Houston,TX on Katy Road (adjacent to I-10).  Founded by Bryson (BJ) Williamson.  Bought my first blank here.  This photo may disappear soon though since the website doesn’t seem to be functional anymore:

The SURFHOUSE is still in business and I believe the only remaining classic surf shop from the 60s in Houston,TX.  Lloyd’s still working the counter. Their website:

That would be a Weber Performer with floral print in that pic. Weber sold more Performers on the EC than he did in the West. I’d bet he moved a good number on the Gulf, too.
