Anyone know a website where you can find one? I am not talking about the regular clark foam. I am talking about the planer jim phillips uses in master shaper to skin the blank and take it down to thickness. Thanks.

I believe what he was using is the Hitachi F-30. They were the first modified planer that Clark offered. Worked good when we used to shape the big sailboard blanks that had a lot of foam to remove. The F-30 is pretty heavy and does not have a balanced feel. I did the mod to mine to make the handle more upright and that helps some. Now it just sits in its case on the floor gathering dust. Hitachi quit producing the F30 sometime in the early 90’s. If you are ever at WRV Jesse has one.
