Hi all… ive searched the forums up and down- forgive me if this one has been answered. I am curious where you guys buy your hitachi planer parts. Is there an online source? Fiberglass Hawaii seems to have a few parts. Where do you guys get them. I want to replace the bearings.

“Hitachi Power Tools sells parts for discontinued tools for 5 years after the year in which the specific tool was discontinued.” I’ll also note that most bearings are generic: OD = X, ID = Y, and any good tool repair outfit can find the generics. Indeed, the bearings may be the same as the OEM bearings, 'cos making bearings is a specialty and most power tool companiesd buy them rather than setting up their own bearing factory.
