There have been some nifty modifications of Hitachi planers as of late by the Swaylocks crew. Question. Is the Clark Modified Hitachi worth the investment, or would I be better of getting my hands on a less expensive non modified Hitachi? Do the modifications help in the final product or are they just conveniences? Any help would be appeciated.
…Buy the Clark version,it’s a better tool.It allows for ajustments while running your planer.The non-mods have a crank knob that you have to spin 50 times to get the blade to go anywhere.Herb
