Chock one up for the hollow wood builders.
Very nice. The boards look great too. There’s been so much press lately on Jim Phillip’s hot curl boards that it’s nice to see a story evolve out of a non-surfing publication. I love the fact they contacted Tom but I believe there is one thing missing in the writer’s research http://www.hollowsurfboards.com
Agreed. We steered the reporter to several other builders as well (including PJ) not sure why he didn’t follow through with them but I’ve added the www.hollowsurfboards.com link permenately to our news section as well (Paul let me know if that’s NOT ok). Thanks for pointing that out. I’ve also added the swaylocks site.
RB,
Do you vent your hollows?
Jebus Rich, I mean Indiana Jones, I got malaria just reading your bio section.
Thanks. I found the other thread right after I posted. I was curious cuz I couldn’t see the vent plugs in any of the photos.
Howzit RichieB, The Sunday edition of the Honolulu Advertiser arn the story on the front page. Just goes to show how surfers are going really retro and they are also things of art.Aloha,Kokua
