Home Shop Compressor - Spec's?

That link turns out to have the exact same data, just organized slightly better. I’m comfortable with a safety factor of 3 or higher. Remember, it’s only 3 in the worst case scenario. If use type M, get it so hot I anneal it when soldering and I run the compressor at 135 psi. If I use type L, run the compressor at a reasonable 120 psi, and solder properly, my safety factor will be 10. I’m sure I’ll be 4 or higher.

Good talk.

Waves to you.

I have enough air hose to access my entire garage and down into the street if I wanted to, but I much prefer wheeling the compressor around. Winding up an extension chord is much easier then winding up an air hose. Not to mention if you want to use air indoors you need to make sure the full length of hose is sparkling clean and you don’t rub the hose against walls to get it to your location. I personally wouldn’t rule out a compressor for not being easy to move around, but I’m glad mine is.
