hong kong

its been a long time since i posted anything here…but i have been reading the posts daily…Well, i will be getting out of the military this december and moving to Hong Kong shortly after that. I was wondering if anyone knew the surfing situation out there? And if there would be a semi reasonable way to get shaping materials…ie, resin, wood, stuff like that. I know the shipping on ordering resin online and having it sent to me will kill me on the $$$$$. So any info, suggestions would be great.

thanks

My brother went trolling Hong Kong looking for surf when he was sent there. He sent me pictures of pure flatness. But maybe he wasn’t looking in the right places.

We used to have a Swaylocker from Hong Kong, he hasn’t posted in a while but search in the archvies under username Crabie… I recall reading that he had a bit of a hard time getting supplies there.

Here’s an old post of his regarding surf there:

“not big but enough to surf, it depends on the weather, normally May - Sept is the best time to surf ( 10-20 ft ), cos the typhoon normally comes between this months. Plan to take a visit here? Regards, Crabie”
