Hi I put on a second hot coat the other day and used a foam roller to do it as I did not want the coat too thick and it was just really to fill some spots that I did not coat properly the first time. But I was wandering if I cauld use a bigger wool roller to do a hot coat on the lam layers as the foam roller gave a good finnish better than a brush. Have any of you tried this before. If so what were your findings. Cheers
Actually I use roller to glassing (thanks Feral Dave, he teach me) And It work great… Is not difficult to learn… need just practice like a squegee. I think soon I try with hot coat too. http://www.theglasser.com/
In 1968, I would deliver Fins Unlimited boxes and fins to Yater, Bob Cooper was doing glassing and used a roller to wet the flats and push under the laps. After that it was back to the squeegee
