This video gave me a lot of inspiration and respect for Bruce Jones. I went back to a 7" flat pad and very course grit media for roughing out the foil after seeing this. So much to learn from the old masters.

Yeah - your probably right, but all my boards have futures boxes & I have the futures jig.
That set up is what I use for any rough grinding. The pad and arbor are under $10 at Harbor Freight and they have 40 and 60 grit disks as well. Just run it in your regular sander.
