How much catalyst do you use?

hi all, last time i made a board the resin set too quickly and caused several problems that i would like to ‘skip’ this time round. so how much catalyst do you mix with resin?

If you have UV cure resin available try it. You can take your time laminating, get everything looking good, then apply sun light to kick it off when your ready. UV also will accept catalyst. Use the ratio’s as listed right on the container paying attention to the temperature. Start with a ‘cool’ mix (1% or less) and experiment from there going hotter as you get comfortable with the products you use. Do as many patches and ding repairs as you can get your hands on to get a feel for how these chemicals react to different conditions and how they feel to work with.

It depends upon the air temp and humidity. You will need to experiment a bit with temps and catalyst percents.
