Absolutely! I concur.
Used to see them in there. Straining my memory; but wasn’t he a pin striper extraordinaire or do I have him mixed up with someone else??
Now that’s an Idea. The Japanese are up on shapers like Brom.
It is a gem, but I’m not stupid and looking for a fortune…just a good home lol where it’ll be surfed …but not a fool either…regards…
Not picking on you. It looks like a lovely board. This site just gets a lot of these threads where new visitors want the members here to valuate boards. The answer really is the same for every one. Its worth whatever you can find someone willing to part with the cash to pay and how badly the seller needs the money. You could always put it on eBay with no reserve and a long auction timeframe. Craislist would be another method. You could put a bunch of time and effort into finding a buyer too but that comes at a cost too even if not monetarily. Best of luck.
ebay the m item sell for 1500.00 it will never get ridden
do international ebay
england, portugal ,japan panama ,south africa west auztralia…
don’t even offer to participate in shipping beyond packing.
sell it back to brom see what he says
he knows who will give top dollar
offer him a commish
what a coup for a shaper
to sell a board a second ime
maybe make more on the second sale
with no dust , besides gold dust.
…ambrose…
happy new year
may we llive
to make another
wave.
dont jump off
you dont make the wave
if you jump off.
Not new I was on here a long time ago…rooster? I can’t remember…just got tired of the bickering…Bert and his detractors ect…so not new-had to change my name when I came back…just thought someone on here would want a brom…so-have fun…
I remember O23. We exchanged templates back in 2004 I think. It’s still a fun place. You should jump in more often. Ignore the bickering. Or, read it and have a good laugh. Beautiful board. Mike
Will do rooster…still mis-shaping myself ha ha…can’t get away from fish!!! Except when I go out with the kid and LB it…have fun…
I dig your pad Homey.
Yes they carry (or carried) steve’s boards when he was locally based… someone else wrote on this thread that he’s in Hawaii now. Entirely possible, as my world is pretty much reclusive running between my property where I shape up near Solvang with runs back and forth to Haakenson for glassing. The moe I stay out of the mainstream, the more I get done. That same quonset hut I mentioned back in the Beatty hey days, was hard to get anything done when all the visiters & lookey looes discovered where we all were and wanted to drop by… I started working hours like 10 PM to 6 A.M. for awhile when I had a lot to get done… I produce a helluva lot more quicker when I’m off the grid. I don’t build surfboards to have a social life.
But being that he is a couple hundred miles north of SB, he should just locate a shop like EVO or one of the other PNW shops that will sell on consignment or use Craigslist for his local area.
Nice looking Board I have seen a couple of high quality Fish Boards that linger on Florida Craig’s list for a long long time. There is currently a very nice looking 7’6" Josh Hall fish that has been up since the summer. price isa bit high Then again in San Diego it might be avery fair Price.
Last time I talked to Wayne; He said he was up that way too and liked being off the grid as well. I gotta get up that way while I’m in Calif. I’ve never been in Evo Shop. Don’t get off the Coast much. I’ll have to spend a day in Portland. Some weekend. Good to hear you are hanging in there. Haakenson as well. Lowel
You live in California right? (Ha ha) thx…I think…have fun…
…you get a broker fee…Japan really??? Have fun…
It’s a Brom Fish. You don’t get much better. He used to post around here (MagicMan).
