Aloha , My 1st. board ready to do the lam. coat and I have just realized that i may have messed up allready .I installed the fin box first with resin and cabosil . now that I’m gonna lam it how do you keep the resin out of the box? Did I mess up by installing it first? I’m gonna glass it one way or the other . The shape came out pretty good for my first board . Gonna be cool to go out on a board I made myself .even if it is’nt as good as a pro job . I have 4 boards “made by others” … thanks for the help… Don

No worries, you just tape off the finbox, using two layers of tape, pushed on really hard, so it sticks and seals out resin. Cut it just after you cut the laps, or pull the tape.
Did you remember to attach a fin in the box to check for level? Hope so.
