Hi, i have a hypto krypto epoxy board. Its glassed just standard white but i wanted to paint it to hide some dings. This is the look i’m going for. I know the color was done in the laminate, but is there anyway i cant get a similar look just painting over the finished board? thanks!
Hi there, I have painted a fair share of fixer uppers. This is what I do: de-wax.lightly sand the board to get the shine off maybe with a 120 grit then 220 grit.I have used spray can primer grey before but probably not necessary ( more weight) and then color spray paint over the primer. Grey primer might be your color your going for. Do light coats. Then do a few coats of spray can clear gloss coat over that.I just used behr low lust tile sealer on my last board I painted and worked really well. Let it cure for a week.It will not be scratch proof .Have fun and get artsy.
