i was wondering if anyone new how to set the router bit back to the factory setting i have the kit for the future fin system and it came with a router and the bit set perfectly for the jig. i took the bit out a few months ago and cant get it back to the original setting. i just routered way to deep on a side fin and dont want to mess the rest up

I remove the clamp and use the sleeve moving freely. One hand holds the jig, one hand lets the router body fall through the sleeve a little at a time (for the center fin, routs into pure foam can obviously be done all at once). 31.5mm from the base of the router to the tip of the bit is the perfect depth. Set it like this, and you can just let the router plunge until at max depth and your routs will be perfect and bloody fast. Then you won’t have to pay any attention to the scale on the side of the router.

I’m surprised that Futures didn’t send you the instructions for resetting the bit along with your install kit. I don’t have a digital copy so I can’t send you mine. Try emailing them for a PDF.
ya they should tell you on the instructional video it comes with . but they dont
