9N78W … now it would be nice to have the side shots, but these were just the heads-up shots to alert the customer that they were on their way … nice crown deck through-out … consistant flow of the foil to tail from the energy point under the chest … soft and gentle s-curve to the rail line … thin nose and tail … gentle roll on the bottom … slight vee under the rear foot … begining in front of the fin box on this order … East-pac might have snapped off a couple shots of these in the racks before they left … Tanks for the nice words ya-all …Have Fun … !! PS that blue one is 6’3" as ordered …

end of an era…revisited

I heard that you are shaping for the dishull guy with the deep pockets.

sounds sweet!!

aloha~

Larry,

What model is that Bing, how long is it, and what type of sidebite boxes are they?

Matt C. had commented on a Probox fin system used on Bings in the latest Surfer Magazine. Adjustable cant, with fore and aft adjustability as well. Could you explain how those fins move without too much play?

Does this board have that same fin system?

Thanks again for the red 9.0 GL fin.

stfu you got a red one!?

ah, beat me to it…dernnit. I keep red fins on most of my boards when I can help it.

Hi PJD, Thanks for asking about the side fins. In this situation forward and back adjustment isn’t as important as cant adjustment. What Matt is experimenting with, is to see how the cant adjustment helps the triming ability of this board. There is alittle over 1/4" inch of fore and aft adjustment with these fins on Matt’s board. The side fins are also made out of Volan with a flex foil similar to the center fin with Greg Liddles suggestion on foil for these side fins.

This board is 7’11" I think and it’s called a SILVER PLATTER part of the BING line.

Yes this board has the same system that Matt is talking about in the Surfer Magazine, ProBox Finsystem.

I am glade you are enjoying our fins, Thanks for the support and questions.
