I’ll jump in here with my $.02…
There was (and may still be) a Greenough spoon at the Beach House in SB- boat resin, stress cracks, scarfed-in foam and wood and who-knows-what, wax-filled screw holes from camera mounts…
Not to overlook the Ancell/Yater boards, which are very pretty, but that spoon, to me, is a work of art- surf or otherwise. It emanates character, history, a sense of life and ongoing process, and its very un-precious.

Anyone know who created this fine work of art? From a '64/'65 Surf Guide.
Epac…quite off the subject, but I have to laugh…the two styroshaped LB’s below the artsy surfski are the ones I shaped that I talk about in another Sway’s threads “stringerless longboards”. Small world…D.S.
