I like that the red is actually red!
It’s good to see Ice9 continuing to innovate and expand.

I agree. As far as red…no kidding, red has always been a difficult challenge to get a good one whether it be paint or even pigment. I guess it is the organic componenets that go into it. Atomized could explain it best.
Anywho…I know that ce Nine is forward thinking, and this is why I chose to supply imput toward a company that would actually listen. These guys realize we are on the front line and receiving frequent and direct feedback from or customers.
I also like the fact that this is a company that conciously decided NOT to outsource everything to Mexico or China. I am hoping that the new administration will create incentives for domestic manufacturing.
Let’s hope we live to see a vibrant surf related economy in the not too distant future, and that we all have time to be out there having fun.
Like the WWII song: " accentuate the positive ,eliminate the negative"…
The purple came out great!
man harold walker knows how to make nice foam, look at those colors nobody does it like him not clark nobody.
Harold Walker was the coolest most hard core blank builder there ever was.
So classic.
It was sad to see them go!
Some new colors on their way to Hawaii.
Can I buy just colored foam? I’m thinking this could be really nice around a Timberflex.
Absolutely. We can tailor the density but our normal high density stock is blown at 4.2 lb density. For some of our wedge cut customers they prefer lighter weights due to the amount of colored foam in the final board. For our normal stock blocks we blow 8" by 7" by 11’ blocks. For our stringers we treat it like our wood and cut planks, sand to required width and then cut the stringers on our CNC. If you just needed “planks” we could do that to.
Thanks for the interest.
The brown foam works real well in a faux cedar application. Here’s a couple of sample t-bands we glued up using the brown foam instead of cedar. The cedar is hard to consistently source dark and the foam also has a cost advantage. FYI.
SWEET!
Thanks … I love options and this is a beautiful one.

With all your experience and knowledge regarding foam we are flattered by your kind words. Thank you Greg.
Lonelytyrant Ive got two ?
Are you selling to backyarders who only make about 10 boards a year?
and if so are you shipping out of state I ask cause I loved walker foam and only go a few left ,from my understanding you are or were only selling to legit buisines owners which is good to just wondering Thank you for your time Nathan
We are happy to sell foam to anyone wanting to shape a board regardless of the quantity ordered. Customers range from backyarders to those needing container loads. We’d be happy to help you with an order and it’s no big deal to do out-of-state shipments. Call the factory at 714-288-2770 or pm me with your contact info and I’ll have a salesperson contact you.
Thanks for your interest.
