ICE 9 WALKER FORMULA IS THE BEST FOAM I HAVE EVER SHAPED!

OKAY SO I WON’T REPEAT MYSELF…JUST GO TO THE ICE 9 RUMORS POST AND YOU WILL SEE THE REPORT…FRIGGIN UNBELIEVABLE STUFF…I’M IN SHAPER HEAVEN!

I just shaped 2 and you must be on drugs! Have you glassed them yet? I wish they were ok but I’ll wait and test the Walker formula. Don’t get me wrong I like these guys allot but I call it the way I see it!

Opps Dead Shaper! Sorry! I shaped the sugar formula! Didn’t realize your addressing the new Walker formula! I was really let down on this formula I’ll stick to normal PU for all future boards.

Cuttie…I can’t even try to compare what Ice Nine is now calling “MOWSES” formula to Cane…there is no comparison. Actually there isn’nt ANY comparison (as far as shapeability) to any other foams I have tried.

I know that any expeienced shaper that is not using machining and wants ease of shaping what his mind’s eye envisions, will find this stuff magical. The handcuffs of tearing are gone, The ease of sanding is optimum. No bullshit. Anyone that claims different I will know is a liar and has their own agenda, or likes to saw away on hard crap that wants to fight you everywhere along the way.

I want to make this point perfectly clear…I am not a salesman for Ice Nine. If I had experienced what I did yesterday with any other foam…even if it was from China, Madagascar, Disneyland, or Latvia…I would be reeling in joy the same way…I don’t give a shit who provided me with this medium…it’s about the foam. For a shaper IT SHOULD BE ABOUT THE FOAM.

OTOH, I do applaud Ice Nine’s willingness to LISTEN to my input about wanting to “shape at speed” so the fluiditiy of creative ideas goes unhampered…not unlike writing in a stream of conciousness fashion.

Personally I expect some people with their own agendas to try to take away from my ‘epiphany’…they will never dilute my experience…and the only drug I was on was the adrenaline I got from finding the holy grail of shapeable foams!

IF THIS FOAM glasses out today the way it appears that it will, and is strong and a lively ride, I predict that EVERYONE in the blank industry will be looking at this foam with a microscope and then some. If they aren’t already, they should be.

By no stretch of the imagination MOWSES (pronounced Moses with the “W” in honor of Harold Walker), this foam made my job 300% easier and more pleasurable.

Any shaper that likes to shape fast and smart will feel as I do (unless they own their own blank company).

Update: I haven’t got to glass yet as I have other pressing stuff for customers however, I did get my curiousity up and throw a few planer bands on the 6’6"HPS Ice NIne that is also in what is now called the “MOWSES” formula. I stand corrected…it IS possible to tear the foam (probably true of any material if you can move your planer fast enough thru any material). However, it is very dificult to do so with sharp planer blades.

That says a helluva lot to me. That you have to really try to tear foam is kinda like the closest thing to a “shaper orgasm” that you’re ever gonna find. (Well, maybe).

I’ll be supplying a finished shape weight soon on the original 9’3" LB that weighed in before doing anything at 12.99 lbs.

It will be interesting to see how much weight she lost becoming a 9’0.5" 16.5Nx21.0"WPx12.5"RP Stinger w/singleto double concave. @2.5" and high performance shortboard rail. Note finished weight came in at 5…775 lbs.

I sspect the 9’3" resisted tearing even that much more because it seemed as tho’ t was very fresh…the 6’6"HPS has only had one more day since shaping but I have no idea if they were blown on the same day. Still…the stuff is awesome.
