Ideas? Holder for Roll of Fiberglass Cloth

My shed is tiny. Right now I’m using a rolling garment rack;

it works fine but there must be a simple way to make a fold away holder for a roll of cloth for dispensing over a blank.

Wood? PVC tubing? … arms with hole/slot on the ends to hold a pole inbetween to hold the roll. When not in use, remove the pole & the arms would fold up paralell to the stud, out of the way.

Any ideas for me?

Screw a 3 foot dowl to a hinge extended out form the wall a coupple inches and then on the other stud put a rod holder.

Cheers.

Ok…I’m, bored and your a lucky dude…

Thanks man… as soon as I read the word ‘hinge’ in your reply yesterday, I slapped myself in the head and sez to myself “DUH” - what’s wrong with me brain nowadays?

My garage workshop is used for lots of things besides surfboards. woodshop/auto repair/home improvement/junk storage ect. I like your clothing rack idea because it has wheels. Scan through this link and check out the fiberglass roll holders.

I think those brackets are for hanging your clothes in the closet. Simple/cheap/easy. Now I just need a wall to mount them on…

Thanks, as I mentioned the critical factor for my tiny shed was the ability to retract out of the way when not in use. Last night I slapped a couple hinges and 1x3’s together and it worked out well.

Alright!

Even better.

Cheers.

Thank you for the brain slap!

Went home for lunch and tested it out on #7

Cured so fast baking in the Hawaiian sun, that bee on the nose was too late to dick with it

45 minutes later the deck is done

Dose that logo say Williams?

Beauty Bud! Wish I could put a board together that easily.

How did that install end up going on the SurfTrux?

Pat

Great Idea Bud!

I think I will make the same thing for my garage

for sure don’t want any close up photos of my free handed rout job, but so far it’s going better than I expected; though I’m dreading grinding/sanding. I’m sure I’ll get around to a ‘review’ of sorts when the board is done, fwiw from a noob backyarder
