Wondering if you need to chop the length of a blank at all?
It really depends on the style and thickness. For an egg, 6-11R or 7-3 is cool. For a regular shortboard, the 6-8R (has more thickness) or the 6-7R should work good. I made a pretty cool 6’4" 70’s stlye single fin out of the 6-7 that finished up at 2-3/4 thick. If you need a catalog you can download it from the clark foam logo on www.foamez.lcom. http://www.foamez.com
…I really like the 6-7 it’s very versatile and Foam-EZ has them all the time.I cut fish, thrusters, guns ,etc.from this one blank and the rocker is sweet.Other notibles are the 6-7R,6-8R,AND 7-3R all are great close tolerance blanks and can easily yield a sound shape.Herb
