what would it be and why?
i think we’ve done this one before, but always a fun question. i’ll take a no nonsense 6’10" thruster, around 19" wide, rnd pintail or pulled in squash, flat to subtle dbl. concaves between the fins. flat deck, 2 3/8" thick. anything from two foot windswell to 10’+…
what would it be and why? At my age, 46, it would be a board just like the 9’0" longboard I sold to a friend on Kauai. A really basic shape, low rails, flat to v bottom, single fin. It could ride small south shore and hold up to 6 ft. north shore.
I concur wioth Bruce with the exception that i would make it 6’6"( I am thin and wouldn’t do too much surfing in 8’+ surf here in SD.
