"In The Pink" vs. "Model-T"

For all you Takayama riders- what do you think about “in the pink” and “model-t”. Both designed for small wave noseriding. I’ve tried the model-t and think it’s a great noserider, though a little difficult to make quick and tight turns of the tail when making speed adjustments along the wave. I’ve heard Takayama recently started taking orders for ITPs and that surftech also has an epoxy model available. Has anyone ridden the ITP, and if so, any thoughts? I’ve only seen one actual ITP, 9’6 w/ a 20 inch nose and the tip of the nose seem extra thick with a down turn rail (yes, on the tip!). Wondering why it’s shaped this way…

ahh, model t. shaped my first longboard based on its design. got to ride one from a very nice older guy i like to call jesus, due to how he looks. super fun. got soem perfect rdies on her. i thank that got everytime i see him. he happened to ahve an extra log sitting in his car and asked me if id rather ride it than my 5’8" ( which was all i brang). i say the model t is one of the best nose riding machines ive riden!! dj

ummm model t is cool, saw a used one at longboard grotto for 495$. ITP is more hi-pro but u can still log some serious tip time on it. I’ve seen Eric Sommer riding it at Wind An’ Sea a bunch, HE RIPS ON IT!!!

the in the pink is a 2+1 fin setup, more of a high perfomance bigger wave board, for what its worth bonga perkins rides one and hes well known to charge pipe and backdoor on a log-

never heard of the in the pink one, sounds like its tough to compare due to 2 different styles of longboards dj

website for Donald?

http://www.hawaiianprodesigns.net/surfboards.htm yea bonga is good at pipe, but not on logs, if u’ve seen singlefin:yellow he took a beating. BUt thats not to say bonga isn’t one of the best surfers in the world. Joel is the best on a log at pipe.
