The word Assult is just a variation on the spelling that I hoped people would pick up on and remember “BUT THEY DON’T”
Your one of few that actually pick up on it
Keeping in mind that the board was designed for hollower breaks on a rising tide (hollower waves that are going to be filling up or fuller / fatter performance waves)
Slight vee in the nose to 15" back, leading to flat through the body to vee out the tail, deepish double concaves from tail to nearly half way for drive, crisp rail edges from 18" to 20" back to knifey rails in tail to contain drive and hold
Ten weeks in the Indo dream lands and life’s OK !!!
The board went absolutely insane, alot of people could’nt get over a twin fin handling the juice as well as it did and the fin system saved the day numerous times …
Get some pic’s up when I work it all out again …
Anyone waiting on Probox supplies … drop me a line
WELCOME back , mate ! ...I was WONDERING where you have been !
I look forward to seeing more photos of the different fin setups [can we have a side on shot of the front fins , pleeease ?!], and seeing it in action !
I'm tempted to put plugs in front of MY proboxed side fins on my 6'1 orange stub . [I've always been a fan of smaller front sides and bigger back fins ...from memory , I think 'Balsa' is , too !!]
Super sweet board! Good to hear it worked well for you in Indo juice. I see you have zero degree cant inserts in the front and 4 degree in the rear to start. Did you change those up on your trip and feel any difference? I wonder what 6 degree cant in the rear would do to that board - super agile in powerful waves I bet!
it’s been pretty wet here and looks like we’re in for another week of it… my raingear at work is starting to smell funny from constant use =) …
i’m liking the Twinzer idea, this thread has me thinking… another on a long list of things to try although i’m pretty happy with my Griffin 5 fin wannabe right now. even though i’m using a hodgepodge of templates… gotta get some fins in his template…
