Any of you history buffs have any info on Bud Gardner? I’ve seen some of his longboards for sale on Ebay and they are pretty expensive. He has supposedly been shaping for 40 years.
For those in the know would a 9’0" or 9’6" longboard shaped by Gardner be worth $1500 to $2000.
I’ve never heard of the guy and can’t seem to find any information about him. Any comments are appreciated.
Buds from S FL and has been shaping since at least the early 60’s. His boards are some of the best quality stuff you’ll ever see and his shaping is always super creative. He’s definately worth the every dime. A very worthy guy.
It is just the way it is, the guys who are really in the pit doing the work don’t get known for who or what they do.
Bud is an amazing craftsman, just known in the Florida area.
