Information on Steve Bredesen Islander Surfboards?

Hi, I just picked up a cool 6/0 almost 3 inches thick,channel bottom, tri fin. I am guessing early to mid 1980's? Can anyone give me some background? are they well known boards? desireable as a collectible?

 Islander Surfboards made in Pensacola, Florida  associated with Hutson Hardware and Surf Shop.

 Steve Bredesen is  "Stevie B." shaping sailboards in Hawaii? His brother Mike Bredesen is a fin guru ....  Flat Island Fins in the Pensacola area.
