HA HA!! gotta love the commitment!! a broken arm and STILL building boards!!
looks like a sweet shape mate, beaut resin job too, very easy on the eye.
good on ya Scott !
so , what are you going to call it …the ?“bluefire” ? , “the blueflame”?
take care of that arm mate , and get back in the water only when you’re ready , eh ?!
cheers !
ben
thanks guys!!! glad you dig the board. we’ll post more pics as it progresses. chip, i just may name it the blueflame, unless it’s a dog, then i’ll call it bowser or somthin and toss it out in the backyard with a ratty old blanket to cuddle with…
yeah having a cast cramps ones style for sure. its coming off nov 21st and then i get six weeks of p.t. hope that will include some surfing!
cheers,
scott
p.s. if i had a dog, i would let it stay in the house…
there are two kinds of wind …
s.b.d. ['silent but deadlys]
and
l.b.h. ['loud but harmless ]
…being that you made that board with only one arm [??]…
maybe you could call it the
‘l.b.a’ board [ loud but 'armless ] ??
just a ben[t] thought …
cheers mate !

Hi Scott,
I’m sure I saw one of your boards down here (Ventura) last week. If I remember correctly, it was around 6’ and had a single wing swallaw tail. Beautiful board! Very clean planshape with a venturi type single concave down the center. (quite different from the standard single to double.)The girl “young woman” was so stoked on that board. She couldn’t say enough good things about it.
Kudos to you!
Hi Sr Pato, way to make my day!!! Thank You!! i don’t remember any winged swallows going to Ventura, but there was a winged diamond tail i think… i mostly send fish to Ventura. Was the board a teal green and black swirled single fin with a white deck maybe?
thanks,
scott
Looks great Scott !
…There’s somethin’…somethin’ around the eyes…I know ! …He reminds me of me !
…Now I know I hate Him !
Naw,But I love that shape…it’s one of my favorite perfomance-minded styles/shapes…now it will be yours too!
