I’d prefer there be no flex where they attempt to pursuade it.
The two tab FCS flexed way too much at the tabs. I had so many sessions ruined by those earliest fcs fins snapping off there. I used to drill into the bases and insert stainless brads up into the fin from the base.
Seems their method if increasing stiffness would not only weaken the fin tab, and then not even stiffen it enough.
I;d prefer the fin twips to twist flex, rather than the whole fin lean.
Perhap their idea would be good for lightweight grommets, but I;d rather dial in tip flex rather than base flex.
