Howdy Y’all, (hehe…I thought I’d try out the local greating of my current place of residence)
Since I’ve worn out the search function and have found all the answers I need so far, I figured I’d go ahead and make a regular old intro post to remove myself from the lurking masses, at least until I make my first build thread(In the works). Currently I’m stuck in the vacuum of the state of MS but will be moving to the southeastern coast of FL by the end of the year. I’m currently in the process of building my first board out of Polyiso block foam (everywhere I turn, everyone’s advised against it, but I’m using whats available in MS, not much). Currently I’m shaping a copy of the US Blanks 8’ H blank and then will take it down from those specs. I reasoned I’d at least get some practice in at using the tools of the trade and shaping, even if it fails, before I spend shipping costs on a real blank. I’m enjoying this build way more then I thought and am already looking forward to my next board, No one told me building is just as addictive as riding. If I have any more questions and cant find it via search(there’s already massive info here, love this place) then I guess I’ll have reason to post again, until then, thanks for the knowledge so far.
