Is flex good?

its good to question our assumptions.  flex, of course, is a design element, neither good nor bad in itself.  I don't think an alaia would be worth a d@mn without flex, but whether its a positive on your board, or my board, is another question.

Good video, good interview, fun waves, some big tow-in waves too.  wish I had that shed to build boards in!

Well put Huckleberry, it is just another design element. However, It was good to see it being named and used, given what seems to be an overwhelming pre-occupation lately with the flex characteristics of a surfboard.

overwhelming preoccupations are often induced by media saturation as a marketing ploy (hint: is there a commodity in there somewhere?) LOL
