I see a lot of china made stuff at the surf shops ,,, realy f,n up our margin,,,profits are down.
people just take the china board cause they save 200 bucks,,, their a bunch of kooks ,,so they only surf once a month,, so they dont
consider the longevity of the board,, just tryin to save a buck
No,, its not just you
Seeing a lot of the Costco softboards. Some are beginners, some aren’t. They are good for beginners because they are less likely to hurt someone. I saw one guy ridding one in decent surf because it paddles like a 10’ board, but its harder to control beacause it’s pretty thick. Gotta give the guy props for being able to ride it pretty good.
I have one, bought it several years ago for my kids and I think it’s perfect for kids or beginners. I think I have the first generation of the 8’ version. Cost me $80. I had an original Morey Doyle back in the 70’s and I think these are better.
