I know denatured alchohol (ethanol mostly) works as solvent for clean up.
Anybody know if drugstore 90% isopropyl alch (rubbing alchohol) will work?
For tiny, one board use its cheap and available.

I use vinegar on my body, and acetone on my tools.
I don’t think so. But Home Depot beats the drug store for cheap DN alchohol. While epoxy is still soft, you can use the orange hand cleaner on you and your tools. Get it on your tool and you are in trouble. Bob will not be your uncle.
the other 10% is water that is no go if you intend on getting a nice epoxy job.
Acetone is inviting health problems and hazardous working environment, the archives have info on this.
With epoxy you are best to use disposables as any contaminant will give you grief on your next job.
I know for sure it works for removing the 5 minute epoxies (model-making), haven’t tried it with others, like RR. My guess is it will work, but not as well as DNA.

What we use (vinegar version)
$4.99 a tub when not on sale at longs…
contains vinegar but doesn’t stink like it
cleans squeegees and floor drippings really well
package is resealable and the plastic tub can be used for resin later
gojo orange for hands and stuff
glove protector on hands and skin before working in throw away vinyl gloves
there’s an epoxy solvent/cleaner you can get at ace hardware looks pretty nasty(toulene, xylene etc etc)
another guy on ebay sells an epoxy brush cleaner but disposable chips/rollers are the way to go
it’s a dirty, stinking business, building boards no matter how you look at it.
Better to use ISO-HEET or similar isopropanol based fuel additive … mostly anhydrous … and prolly cheaper even.
Alcohol cleans RR epoxy better than acetone, with less danger of driving it into your bloodstream. First and foremost – wear gloves and avoid getting epoxy on yourself. But the alcohol does the better job. And it won’t hurt your EPS if you get some on it. Xylene and acetone will eat it alive.
Thank you all. Did first lam one side 4 X 4 oz, though not all in one shot. Discovered that GoJo leaves oily residue on squeegee which I washed off w/ dish soap, more or less, then broke out an old can of acetone to make sure. Nitril gloves for the hands.
Too cold in the garage to use the epoxy; 58 degrees. Wife out of town. Hmmmm, cut up old cardboard boxed w/ packing tape to cover kitchen floor and go. Close to radio and snacks. Didn’t even get any on the cat, though she did try once. After she heard the tone of my voice she didn’t even consider it again.
For some reason hadn’t thought of Home Depot for DNA. Dont’ have it at the pharmacy, though there’s no reason they would. DUH…
Vinegar is good, coconut oil (or other vegetable oils, even fish oil )is good for getting the stuff off the skin
