it pays to be friendly...

Got talking to a guy while surfing this morning . He commented on then asked me about the “stubbie” I was riding.

Then the conversation, strangely enough, got around to three fin bonzers. [This guy rode them down south for years !!]

He gave me some contacts, as I told him I am going to attempt making one.

Bonzers were EXTREMELY rare here in West Australia in the '70s, apparently, so I was pretty stoked to have had this conversation.

…serendipdity exists !

I had THREE 3 fin bonzers back in the early '70’s, but when anyone reads my reviews of them, they only focus on the negatives, and completely ignore the positives a write about them.

So I’ll leave it to the young and innocent to discover for themselves.

Seems the most impassioned board owners happen to prefer Bonzers, and tout them more than the cat’s meow.

Don’t matter what board you ride, it’s your surfing ability in the water that counts.

yeah it does pay to be freindly! the other day i was surfing a break i dont normally surf and a guy dropped in on me but rather then going off my nuts i said thats ok mate, turned out he was a local and when i paddle for a wave i wanted none of the pack snacked me…

Be Freindly, Got Karma will reward you!
