The next time I hear a pansy say

“Oh but i’ve heard ridding a fish ruins your surfing on a normal board”

or

“But i’ve heard putting a tail pad on your mal ruins your style and noseriding”

i’m going to laugh my head of at there stupidity

But then you won’t be able to see their expressions…

Head on the floor isn’t a good look…

Ignore them, just keep surfing better than them…

I personally think it helps your surfing. It teaches you to use your rail and carve, but most people look worse surfing a fish than almost any other surfcraft except maybe a SUP.

I agree so much…!!!

However much I love surfing a fish - I know it don’t look as good as it feels - I think you have to be truly gifted to look good on a fish.

Another way to say it, riding a fish is like a fat chick, fun to ride, but you don’t want your friends to see you on it.

The comment is made by somebody who either:

  • Can’t ride a fish or

  • Can’t ride a shortboard (assuming that’s what they mean by a “normal” board) or

  • Both
