Anyone know anything about Hap Jacobs 211 model, single fin?>>> What conditions/style surt is this shape best suited for?>>> milo It is available both as both a single and with side fins. The board has wings about 18 inches back from the tail in either fin set up. Very similar to Velzy’s 422 but Velzy puts a step tail on the board. It’s a nose rider suited for most any wave conditions you would put a long board into.

I thought the Jacobs 422 was his noserider/longboard model-- The 211,is his shorter hybred shape – runs about 7’0" to about 8’0" – I guess it’s suited to all-around conditions like most hybred/funshapes.

Correct - the 211 is a shorter version of the 422. Velzy makes a 422 as well as Jacobs but the difference is as I previously stated.
